If it were easy, everyone would be doing it. It takes a special type of person to be a trucker. And it takes an extra special person to be with them. It isn't easy, but it's not always difficult, especially for over the road and long haul truckers. It takes a lot of dedication from the entire family to provide the necessary support. And we're human, we are going to make mistakes or think about throwing in the towel. Just because you think it, doesn't make you a bad person. You are just trying to make things better. Listen to those feelings, try to figure out what it really is that is bringing out those feelings. Talk about them with your trucker. Don't hold it in. Get support, talk with other trucker spouses/significant other/family, etc. Sometimes just hearing someone having struggled gives you insight into your own situation.
